DJ Rogers Jr wants you to 'Smile'

Mississippi native - AndreusYou've heard the stories, it's hard to follow in your father's footsteps in the same arena as you want to make your own mark on your own terms without the help of your famous dad but for young DJ Rogers Jr, he finds that statment to be a compliment. You see DJ Jr has taken the path (so to speak) of his famous dad but with dad's blessing rather than his help and is about to release his debut set - 'Emosoul'.

His first single 'Lonely Girl' really is only a climpse of DJ's raw natural ability as his latest release 'Smile' has all the trademark charactoristics of his father style with the range and tempo of a seasoned veteran, it's hard to believe it's a debut effort from the talented singer, songwriter and producer. Very smooth, very sensual with all the right elements in place - a delightful ballad right off. The album is set for a February release - look for it.

Ms Dynamite is set to make US debut

French sister duo - Les NubiansBritish R&B princess Ms. Dynamite will follow fellow British R&B singer Craig David and will release her highly successful debut album 'A little Deeper' here in the US. Ms. Dynamite whose birth name is Neomi McLean-Daley has had a phenonium run with her debut release in Europe and her native UK selling millions and now looks to do more of the same on the States side of the pond.

The album has enjoyed number one status on the album charts and the single Dy- na-mite being the heavy hitter on the singles chart. Ms. Dynamite dominance started in 2001 after winning the prestigous Panasonic Music Prize Competition, she took the UK undergroud dance scene by storm with an appearance on DJ Sticky's dance anthem 'Boo'. This got her noticed and the rest is history (as they say). Plans to drop the album is due for a spring release.
