Janet's
'All for you' No.1 on Billboard Top 100 Chart
Janet
(Miss Jackson if you're nasty) climbs to the No.1 spot on
Billboard's
Top 100 charts with her latest effort 'All for you
' to claims her 9th
No.1 single of her illustrious career. The single (a former No.1 track
on my show The Menu's Top Ten @ 10) is the title track from her
forthcoming album of the same name which will be in stores April 24th
The song climbed to the No.1 one spot
in record time in only 5 weeks which makes it the fastest track ever to claim
the coverted crown without having the single released. Remixes of the
song is in the works which will be featuring DJ Quik among others
bringing their remixing talents to the table and will go to clubs and radio next week so be on the
lookout for it.

The
unlikely pairing of pop lass Christina Aguilera with rap and RNB
sweethearts Mya,
Pink and
Lil' Kim (respectively) seems to be on for the
new cover version of the Labelle classic track 'Lady Marmalade
'. The track
is making quite a bang on the radio circuit as one of the week's most
added tracks to stations playlists across the country.
It will be
featured on the new soundtrack to the Nicole Kidman and
Ewan McGregor
musical film 'Moulin Rouge' which will be in theatres the middle of next
month. The soundtrack (available on Interscope) will be in stores May
8th.

Bilal's '1st Born Second
finally set for a mid-May release
After
much anticipation as to whether they would release his album, Bilal's
impressive debut set '1st born Second
' will be at a record store near you come
mid-May. The debut single 'Soul Sista
' (which was featured on the
'Love
and Basketball' soundtrack last year) made such an impressive debut that
plans to release an album were in the works a lot sooner than expected
but now the final product is finished
Rumour
has it that the next single will be 'Sometimes' a move slow grinder that's
sure to please the purest fan of the man. No date yet on it's release but
I'm sure it's not too far in the distant future but I do know the album
will be in stores May 15th.
