Records proudly presents their latest
compilation 'Soul Power' (Dome -25) which will be in stores today
(April 16th). The new set gives you the best of house, soul,
gospel and RNB on one album.

Missy Elliot will be 'So
Addictive' come May 15th
Missy
'Misdemeanor' Elliot returns to stake her claim to the throne atop the
female rap world with her latest release 'So Addictive' (Eastwest/Goldmine).
The lass from Portsmouth, Virginia is in the midst of a heavy
promotional tour to promote the new set that features guest artists such
as Nelly Fugado
featured on the remix of the 1st single 'Get
ur freak on',
Ginuwine
comes on board with the ballad 'Take away' and
Da'brat
takes a stab on the dance floor mover 'Slap slap'. "One
Minute Man" features Jay-Z
and Ludacris
doing
separate versions of the track and the inspirational "I'm Moving
On," (which was inspired by a deceased friend of
Missy)
features gospel singer Kim Burrell
and other gospel-bearing
sisters, including Yolanda Adams and
Mary Mary..
Elliott
wrote and executive produced the set with her usual partner of beats extraordinaire
Timberland
who in addition to having producing duties
on all the tracks appears on the cut "What Cha Gonna Do."

MJ Cole's 'Sincere' gets
a US release.
After
flourishing on the UK and Europe shores for some time now the gender known as 2 Step has arrived on US soil in the form of
MJ Cole's
debut release 'Sincere' (Island). Originally issued on
Gilles
Peterson's
London-based label Talkin' Loud, "Sincere" will arrive on
these shores today complete with two bonus tracks which was not
available on the full length in the UK
So
just what is this phenomenon called '2 Step' well it's a combination of Dance/Soul/RNB/Drum 'n'
Bass/Dancehall and House music all rolled into one form - 2 Step
and MJ Cole's latest set is loaded to the kilt with it. The first single
will be 'Crazy Love' with original and remix versions available on
the CD-5 and 12"

Mikki Howard's long
overdue release finally arrives
The
welcome return of songstress Mikki Howard is evident as she
enters the forefront of the RNB field with her first cd release in some years
called '3 Wishes' (Peak)
The once
former lead singer of 'Side
Effect' brings on some great producers for
this CD including Barry
Eastman
(Freddie Jackson,
Billy Ocean),
Gary Brown (Phil Perry) and
LeMel Humes. Most notable
tracks include 'Meant to be' and 'Bring your loving home'.
Look out for it in stores next month.
