Alicia Keys to perform live with broadcast Dec 1st in NYC
The reigning princess of R&B and multi grammy award winning soul sensation, Alicia Keys will perform a concert live in New York City come December 1, which is World AIDS Day, to benefit the 'Keep a Child Alive' charity and foundation.
Alicia, who is getting ready to release her sophomore set 'The Diary of Alicia Keys' just finished shooting the video for the lead off single 'You don't know my name' which was shot in Brooklyn and plans to do a worldwide tour to support the release that will include the States, Japan, Great Britain, Germany and Australia...and you could be there too (virtually that is)! Ruben's not upset with not being able to team up w/Missy
All it boils down to is talent and Ruben Studdard has plenty of it. The Birmingham, Alabama native and latest winner of the 'American Idol' thrown has collaborators lining up left, right and center for his debut release but one of the industry's best - Missy Elliot decided not to work with the mammoth man due to schedule conflictions.
"We may have to save it for the second record," said the smoothe crooner during a break in a New York studio last week, "Both of our schedules were just so hectic."
But Studdard took it in stride and is happy with the release of his debut set Soulful, due next month (December 9 to be exact). It's noted that the album has more high-profile rappers, singers, producers and songwriters than any of former Idol competitors Kelly Clarkson, Justin Guarini and Clay Aiken's albums combined.
Collaborators who have worked with Ruben include producers Swizz Beatz, up and coming Jazze Pha, Harold Lilly (Alicia Keys, Monica) and Warren Campbell (Sisqó, Kelly Price), producer/songwriter R. Kelly, gospel singer Fred Hammond and rapper Fat Joe. The track with the latter, "Can I Get Your Attention?," is a front-runner for the first single.

Can it be true: Beyonce and Jay Z ties the knot!
Can it be? is it true? That indeed is the questions fans are asking themselves in regards to the recent rumor about Destiny's Child frontwoman Beyonce Knowles and rapper Jay Z apparently getting married.
Groovevolt reports that, according to a member of an Arista group Jay Z and Beyonce were secretly married and have been for a while. They apparently tied the knot on a designated island with a few friends and family present to witness hte event. No comments have been made by either party to collaborate or deny the rumor.

Beyonce has stern words for N'Sync star Justin
Speaking of Beyonce, A tabloid reports that she had stern words with Justin Timberlake of *NSYNC fame when he begged her backstage to join himself, Missy Elliott and Sean Paul on stage at the N.E.R.D. gig at the Corn Exchange in Edinburgh, Scotland after the MTV Europe Music Awards a couple of weeks back.
She snapped: "You can't get me to go up there dude. I ain't doing that for you. I ain't doing that for no-one." Knowles left immediately after watching their impromptu performance from the sidelines. Meanwhile, Justin enjoyed the performance so much that he has told pals he'd like to perform an exclusive gig after the BRIT awards - and be joined by all the winners on stage.
