Pink
collaborates on new Naughty by Nature project
Outspoken
at times, Pink seems to be at peace nowadays at the top of her game
and has now collaborated with the naughty lads Vinnie and Treach aka Naughty
by Nature. The track 'What
you wanna do' is taken from Naughty By
Nature's forthcoming release Iicons
due out April 23. .
Also contributing to the set was 3LW (aka 3 Little Women)
making an appearance on the lead off single 'Feels
Good' that goes to radio
next month. Check it out coming to a radio show near
you

Newcomer
Chanel makes a bright impression
Now
much in the way of information is available on this young lady but Chanel
certainly does have a voice. The debut song is called 'My
Life'
a lusciuos and beautifully orchestrated mid-tempo groove that's sure to make
you shake a leg on the dance floor.
With
the Crusaders
'Street Life'
as the sampled theme, this one is a sure fire hit in my eyes and will be
played frequent and often on The Menu - so do tune in if you care
to listen.

The Brit
Awards - the nominees are...
Speaking
of award ceremonies, you may remember last years Brit
Awards where Craig
David received the most
nods with 6 and didn't win a single statue (and this was in his
homeland). Well this year he receives 3 nods but guess who grabbed 6
this time around The
Gorillaz (don't figure).
The
awards will take place at Earl's Court in Central London once again
on Wednesday Feb.27th. Nominees include Elton
John and Aphex
Twin (Best Male),
'the lady' aka Sade and
Geri Halliwell
(Best Female),
as mentioned the Gorillaz
and Jamiroquai (Best
Group) and So
Solid Crew and Robbie
Williams (Best Single).
Robbie can set a record for most consecutive wins in the Brit single
category with 4 straight if he takes the award home.
UK prominent
Prince of Soul Omar
was left out of the voting yet again now I ask you what's the point of
having these awards if true talent is not recognized, isn't that the
purpose behind the awards is giving props to those who had a steller
year and deserve to be recognized (I'm mystified by this). For a complete listing of all the nominees and
categories visit www.brit.co.uk.
