R.
Kelly proclaims his innocence in sex tape scandal
R.
Kelly
(given name Robert
Kelly) has come forward to proclaim his innocence in the alleged sex tape
scandal involving a minor. The paper the Chicago Sun Times,
anonymously received a 26-minute, 39-second videotape that shows Kelly
performing various sex acts with the underage girl.
The young lady, now 17-years-old, was identified by a family member who
estimated she was 14 at the time the tape was made. Chicago police have
been investigating the allegations for as long as three years, according
to the paper.
He
told Chicago television station
WMAQ
that the allegations were false.
"It's very difficult for me, but you know, I'm innocent," Kelly
said. "So it's not that difficult. It's crap, and that's how we're
going to treat it.".
So
why would someone create a false tape to slander Kelly? he has a theory.
He told WMAQ, that it could have been made by a former employee who
attempted to blackmail him previously and who may have released it to ruin
the singer's big moment at the Olympics.
The tape isn't the only source of allegations, however. Kelly must appear
in court on February 21 in Chicago to face charges that he had sex with a
separate underage girl, Tracy Sampson, who filed a $50,000 civil suit in
August. Sampson claims that during her internship at Epic Records, Kelly
took advantage of his position of authority and induced her into a sexual
relationship that lasted from May 2000 to March 2001, even though he was
married and knew she was 17. Stay tuned for what develops next

3 Lil'
Woman disses Lil' Bow Wow
The
riffs between East coast and West coast is nothing new but the latest
edition seems a bit much cos' it's between teeny boppers.
3LW's
Kiely Williams has apparently
made a dis towards rapper Lil'
Bow Wow.
The
track in question is "I Think I Wanna Leave With
You," (taken off
the trio's upcoming sophomore LP, A Girl Can
Mack),
the song references to Lil'
BW as the lyrics states 'I
hang with big dogs/ So what's a Lil' Bow Wow?". So what brought this
on you might ask yourself well apparently rumor has it that he was trying
to play them out twice on national television. Said Kiely "I had to
come with something. I don't wanna leave with you because you're like 3
feet tall. I can't mess with that."
The
other ladies of the group Adrienne
Bailon and Naturi
Naughton feels the same way
regarding the subject in hand and said that their sophomore project has a
more grown up tone to it. "We wanted to show a huge [growth] from our
first album to our second," said 17-year-old Naturi.
"Not too grown-up — we're not trying to be too old, but it has been
two years and we have different issues to talk about."
"And all our fans will be able to appreciate us because they'll be
moving on to the next stages of their life," Adrienne added.
"That's a wonderful thing. I think this album just rocks the first
[one]. The improvement from the first album to the second album is
amazing."
"We wanna take it everywhere," Naturi said, jumping back in.
"The sophomore album is so important, you gotta make sure you come
correct."
