Mr. Thomas is on
the prowl and is gearing to go and seduce the world over with that
smooth baratone voice of his. Joe's
3rd album for Jive appropriately titled
Better
Days' sees the young
man venture into a more contemporary mode of RNB this time around
and will definitely see the fan's cheer at the record shops.
The
lead off single 'Let's
stay home tonight'
has already enjoyed a tremendous amount of airplay across the globe
and rightfully so the song (a bit of a change in tempo for Joe) has
a more English RNB feel to it rather than the typical stuff you see
on the US charts.
On
the other hand, the album is filled with some really nice tracks
some of which has the gospel oriented touch to them but stand outs
include the moving 'Ghetto
Girl' featuring
Shaggy, 'What if a
woman', the gospel
tinted 'Love's Prayer'
and the title track. The album is in stores now so go get a copy
