In the wake of the new millennium fans from both near and far wondered whether 'The Lady' would ever return to her craft. It's been 8 years (since 'Love Deluxe') when we last heard any new material from her and most wondered if the rumoured buzz was true of her retiring well wonder no more because 'The Lady' (as she is so affectionately known to her to her adoring public) is back with a new single and album to follow. 

'By your side ' (taken from her forthcoming album 'Lovers Rock') is not as jazzy nor funky as her past work but it is well worth the wait. Stuart, Andrew, Paul and the rest of the band are in fine form giving us a beautiful ballad that's a delight to listen to especially with Sade's sultry voice at the helm.

The thought of her not returning was literally heartbreaking and unbearable but our minds are now at ease because the lady is back and better than ever. 'By your side ' has already been rumored to be played on stations in San Francisco and Washington as well as a few in Europe but will officially go to radio Oct 3rd. Lovers Rock is sceduled for release Nov. 14th I am so looking forward to it as I am sure you are too.
