Also kicking off the new
year's 1st review on the female vocalist side of things is a young
lady whom most of us have probably never heard of but should do
very, very soon. Newcomer Audrey Clare
is another UK singer who has obvious talent and shows a lot of
promise. The Wigan based belle has a hit on her hands with 'Beautiful'
- a sensually smooth and delicious ballad that rivals the best
of them out there today.
The song is season with all
the central ingredients - hook, melody and charm not to mention
Audrey's beautiful voice. She lists Toni
Braxton and Aretha Franklin
as her major influences and she wrote all the music and lyrics.
She is a polished and accomplished
musician who plays both the piano, flute and the violin. She states
that her tracks have that smooth-as-silk vocals persona which
perfectly matches her natural ability for lyric and song - writing
with deep soul sensibilities.
She has just completed a
five track demo which should be going to radio very soon. You
can check her out at rock-itmusiccompany.com
This track definitely warrants
your attention - very smooth, very soothing, very, very nice indeed.
She is not yet signed to any record label but the kind folks at
BBC-Radio one has added her to their 'Unsigned Demos' so do look
for her there. In any case, not to worry, a talent of this statue
will not be overlooked (or un noticed for that matter) for very
long - a TY-D
Pick through and though.
